Fall is the perfect time of year were it’s not too hot, and it’s not too cold as yet to be outside exploring your favorite city or national park.
Fall is considered “off-season” and is the cheapest time of year for airfare and hotels. However, fall is hurricane or the rainy season in the Caribbean but if you are willing to take the risk, you can travel at really cheap prices.
Fall travel means kids are back in school, so there will be no crowds and you won’t have to worry about having to elbow your way through crowds of people.

Head to Vermont and enjoy the seven day fall festival where seven towns host a variety of activities from cider pressing, giant pumpkin contests and concerts or pancake breakfast to chili cook-offs. Also enjoy viewing the changing of spectacular colors of the leaves on the trees, of red, yellow and orange.
